Wedding car hire reviews

Andy, our chauffeur, was excellent throughout. He immediately put both the bride and myself at ease, and his calm, friendly manner showed that he has a great deal of experience in wedding transport. He was punctual, professional and a real credit to the company. The Rolls-Royce Phantom certainly looked impressive and photographed well from a distance. However, on closer inspection, the vehicle did show its age. The chrome trim was noticeably worn, the engine was quite smoky, and the interior would have benefited from a more thorough clean. There was visible fluff or small white hairs around the door and window areas, and unfortunately an empty crisp packet had been left beside the driver’s seat. Most disappointing was the strong smell of cigarette smoke inside the car, which was not ideal for such a special occasion. Overall, Andy provided a fantastic service, but greater attention to vehicle presentation and cleanliness would significantly improve the overall experience.

Wedding car itself was beautiful and the company were easy to book with. The car turned up on time and the driver appeared well dressed. While driving to the venue the driver appeared to be swirling form. Left to right on multiple occasions and when arriving at the venue scrapped the wedding car on the side of the wall with the wedding party in it. Despite reserving the car for a set amount of time to cover before during and after the ceremony the driver left during the ceremony unknown to the wedding party so when they came out to have photos with the car like they paid for he was no where to be seen. They were contacted and told the car was miles away from them and could not return despite paying for him for another hour! So not only did we not get the photos with the car we paid for and lost an hour with the car despite paying nearly £400 for the car for 2 hours we also had to forfeit some photography time despite again paying for 2 hours photography and the photographer trying to think of many other photos we could Do to try and fill the time that the car photos were meant to do we still finished photos earlier tha plan which put quite a damper on the day due to me being autistic and my hyper focus being classic cars so it was a big thing for me to be able to have photos with one. Quite disappointed in the company’s response despite having to have photos cut short and there for loosing some photography money we lost 45 mins photo time at the cost of 175 pounds and the lose of the hour with the car costing approximately 100 they offered a maximum refund of 70 will not be recommending this company to anyone please go to a company who will look after your needs and if a hiccup happens they compensate you accordingly

Everything was great right up until the very end when we were asked to pay our balance upon arrival at our wedding reception (despite having paid in full weeks before upon booking). Whilst it was cleared up and was not the drivers fault as his system was showing a balance being due, the way it was handled was poor. This shouldn’t really happen, and should have been raised on pick up prior to the Church service (rather than waiting until we had just got married and were stood outside our reception). The driver wouldn’t let us leave despite us saying we had paid and made us wait whilst he called a colleague to confirm the position whilst all of our guests were enjoying the start of the reception.

John who we booked with and spoke to prior to the wedding was great. We went through everything that would happen on the day. However the driver then arrived alot earlier than arranged, and although early is obviously better than late we all felt rushed. We therefore arrived super early at the venue and the bride had to sit in the car at the back of the car park trying to stay out of sight whilst guests where still ariving as we were 25 minutes early. The driver of the vehicle barely spoke two words to us the whole day. BoHo also posted pictures before we did which i thought was a bit naughty as we didn't even realise he had taken photos! The car served as a nice back drop for pictures and looked the part. Take a drink with you for the journey as the car is very hot inside too

The car in the picture that we originally ordered we didn’t get they sent another one which was a totally different colour and didn’t tell us beforehand when we called up to query about it we were then told on the phone by John that our car had failed it’s mot the day before our wedding and he couldn’t do anything about it the car they sent was ok but very rusty on the inside & outside of the vehicle we wasn’t very happy with it for the money we paid because we wanted the blue one we were very disappointed is our honest review :(
